Almond trees blooming on the road to Yosemite, 2017. Keeping up with my tree theme, I just re-processed this image from a few years back. We were on the way to try and photograph the elusive Firefall at Horsetail Fall but this image proved to be the winner of the trip. As a photographer you are always looking for images and as we passed Merced, we came across an almond grove in full bloom. What a sight! We pulled over quickly, made a few frames and we were on our way.
The clouds at the top of the image really make this image work for me as they really compliment the blooms on the trees. This image made with my trusty compadres Don Feria and Casey Valentine.
